The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center

The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center honored Yanbu Industrial College at the Saudi ESCO 2024 Energy Efficiency Services Forum for its distinguished educational efforts in promoting a culture of energy efficiency through its academic programs. This aims to make the cities of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu a model for #Industry_and_Life cities

ISA International Competition

By the grace and blessing of Allah, the Electrical Engineering Department team at Yanbu Industrial College, under the supervision of Dr. Fahad Bankher, succeeded in achieving first and second place in the International ISA Competition held in Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, surpassing international universities (from Spain, the United States, and Nigeria) as well as local universities and colleges.

The judges praised the projects presented by the team and highlighted their potential applicability in companies. Furthermore, the team’s projects were requested to be presented to Saudi Aramco for further study and possible implementation.

The first-place project was "Protection of Industrial Control Panels Using Artificial Intelligence," which focused on the technological aspect and demonstrated how maintenance costs of control panels could be reduced by up to 66%.

The second-place project was a "Smart Helmet for Monitoring the Health Condition of Engineers and Technicians Using Artificial Intelligence," which predicts potential health issues and sends alerts to the company’s medical center to ensure timely assistance and intervention when needed
